Makeup courses in Montreal: what you will learn

Our professional makeup course in Montreal trains makeup artists to work on every skin tone, with a specialty that is still rare in Quebec: makeup for Black and mixed skin. You learn color correction and foundation matching, contouring, smoky eyes, evening makeup and bridal makeup.

Take the course over 1 day ($1,000) or 4 days ($2,000), plus taxes. Over 4 days you complete more than 20 full makeup looks on real models. All materials are provided on site during the training (eyeshadow palette, brushes, foundations, concealers, lip colors), a learning kit is available as an option, and you receive a certificate issued by BF Beauty Training Academy.

Do I need prior experience to enroll in the makeup program? +

No, our program is designed for beginners. You'll learn all foundational techniques — color correction, contouring, smoky eye, bridal looks — from the ground up. Motivation is the only prerequisite!

Is the supply kit included? +

During the training, all the materials and products you need are provided on site. To keep practising at home, a learning kit is available as an option when you book; its content and price vary by program and are sent to you on request.

How much hands-on practice is in the curriculum? +

Over 4 intensive training days, you'll complete 20+ full makeup looks on real models. Practice begins on day one.

What certificate will I receive? +

You receive a BF Beauty Professional Training Certificate — Makeup, issued by the school and detailing all skills acquired.

Can I start working right after the training? +

Yes. Most of our graduates secure their first contract within 3 to 6 weeks: as freelance artists, studio assistants, or event makeup artists.

Are sessions available on weekdays or weekends? +

Both. Sessions are offered on weekdays, evenings and weekends to fit your schedule.

When does the next session start? +

A new session starts on the first Monday of every month. Next dates: December 7, 2026, January 4, 2027, February 1, 2027.

Is the training available in English? +

Yes. You can take the training in French or in English.

How do I reserve my spot? +

Choose your option and start date on the program's booking page, then pay a $500 deposit. The balance can be paid in installments.
