General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs”) govern all enrollments in a BF Beauty Training Academy program, as well as any purchase of training, certificate, attestation, or educational materials on bfbeautytraining.com.

1. Seller Identity

BF Beauty Training Academy — professional training school in esthetics and cosmetology, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Phone: 438-596-4757 / 514-210-3009. Email: [email protected].

2. Acceptance

Any enrollment, booking, or purchase implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs. The client acknowledges having read them before confirming their order.

3. Programs and Pricing

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD), before tax: GST (5%) and QST (9.975%) are added to the displayed price. Prices may be changed at any time without affecting already confirmed enrollments. All materials are provided on site during the training. A learning kit and post-training support can be added as options when booking; their price, which varies by program, is sent on request and is added to the price of the training.

4. Enrollment and Deposit

Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment. To reserve a spot, a booking fee (deposit) of $500, for all programs and combo certificates, may be paid; the balance is due before the first day of class, unless otherwise agreed in writing (instalment plan). The student may cancel the booking within 48 hours and receive a full refund; after this period, or if the booking is made less than 48 hours before the training starts, the booking fee is non-refundable, except if the school cancels the session. 5. Payment Methods

Online payment is made by Interac e-Transfer. A booking whose transfer is not received within 48 hours is cancelled automatically. No banking data is stored on our servers.

7. Attendance and Certification

The attestation or certificate is issued to participants who attended at least 80% of training hours and completed the practical evaluations. An unjustified absence may result in postponement or cancellation of certification, without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

Course materials, manuals, videos, and all educational content remain the exclusive property of BF Beauty Training Academy. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization.

9. Image and Testimonials

The student authorizes BF Beauty to use, for promotional purposes, photos and videos taken during training. A waiver may be requested in writing before the first class.

10. Liability

BF Beauty Training Academy makes every effort to ensure the quality of its programs but cannot be held responsible for a student’s subsequent professional failure, which depends on many external factors. The school’s liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the training concerned.

11. Force Majeure

No party may be held liable for a failure resulting from a force majeure event (pandemic, strike, administrative closure, weather event). In such cases, the program is postponed without penalty.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
