What is the difference between wig installation and wig making? +

Installation means applying an existing wig to a client. Wig making teaches you to build a wig from scratch: from cap construction to weft sewing through to finishing. You can then sell or customize them.

What types of wigs will I learn to make? +

You'll learn to construct machine-made wigs (fast and cost-effective) and hand-sewn wigs (premium quality). Handmade lace front basics are also covered.

Can natural human hair be used in wig making? +

Yes. Training covers both human hair and synthetic hair wefts. Selection, preparation, and sewing techniques for both are taught.

Are sewing machines required? Are they provided? +

A standard sewing machine is used for machine-made wigs. Machines are available during class. If you own one, the specific settings will be taught.

How much can I sell a handmade wig for? +

A quality handmade human hair wig sells for $350 to $800 in Montréal. Training covers cost calculation and pricing strategies.
