Refund Policy

BF Beauty Training Academy is committed to applying a clear, fair, and transparent cancellation and refund policy. This policy outlines the conditions under which a participant may cancel their enrollment and obtain a refund.

1. Registration Deposit

The $500 CAD deposit required to confirm a spot is non-refundable, except in the case of cancellation by BF Beauty Training Academy of the relevant session. This deposit covers administrative costs, material reservation, and the student’s reserved spot.

2. Cancellation by the Student — Before Training Begins

• More than 30 days before the start date: full refund of the balance paid (deposit retained).
• Between 15 and 30 days before the start date: 50% refund of the balance paid, excluding the deposit.
• Less than 15 days before the start date: no refund, but the student may transfer their spot to the next session (subject to availability), once only.

3. Cancellation by the Student — After Training Has Begun

Once training has started, no refund is issued for hours already delivered. For remaining hours, a pro-rata refund may be considered at the discretion of management in cases of serious and duly justified reasons (illness supported by a medical certificate, relocation, force majeure).

4. Cancellation by BF Beauty Training Academy

If the school must cancel or postpone a session (minimum enrollment not met, instructor unavailability, force majeure), the student receives, at their choice: a full refund including the deposit, or a free transfer to another session.

5. Refund Process

Refunds are processed within 30 days of the request, to the original payment method (card, PayPal, transfer). A confirmation email is sent to the student upon completion of the refund.

6. Refund Request

All requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected], including: full name, program, session date, reason, and order number. A response will be provided within a maximum of 7 business days.

7. Special Cases

• Materials and educational kits — non-refundable once handed to the student.
• Online training / replays — non-refundable after content has been accessed.
• Gift cards — non-refundable, valid 24 months from purchase date.

8. Recourse

In case of dispute, the student may submit a written complaint to management. If no amicable resolution is reached, the Office de la protection du consommateur du Québec may be contacted.
